Police Seek Two Over Pub Murder

Police have released images of two men they want to question in connection with a fatal shooting.

Luke Harris, 26, was shot once in the chest at the Bagot Arms Pub in Wolverhampton on 15 March this year. Mr Harris, who had two young daughters, died in hospital as a result of his injuries.

The two men police have identified are Leighton Ashley Cohen, 20, and Michael Soloman Stubbs, 21, both from Wolverhampton.

Detective Inspector Simon Richards, who is leading the investigation said: "I would urge anyone who might know the whereabouts of these men to get in touch with us.

"We believe these men have vital information regarding the Luke's death, and if anyone in the community has information on their whereabouts I would urge them to come forward."

The funeral of Mr Harris will take place on Friday at 11.00am at the Darlington Street Methodist Church in Wolverhampton.

Det Insp Richards added that provisions were in place to protect anyone who helped police with their enquiries.

Man found dead following reports of shooting
Police are investigating shootings in south Wales which left a man dead and two men injured. Gwent Police said that they had been called to a report of a shooting in Usk View, Govilon, Abergavenny around 2:50pm on Sunday. Two men, believed to be brothers, aged 17 and 20, were found in the garden of a house.

32 hostages released in Russia school seige
Thirty-two women and children have been released by terrorists who took over a school in North Ossetia on Wednesday morning. The 17 armed men and women who took over the school in Beslan are still holding over 300 people as hostage. Reuters reported yesterday that eight civilians have been killed by the terrorist group.

Arrests After Couple Cuffed In Robbery
Five men have been arrested after a husband and wife were handcuffed and robbed at their home in Salford last night. Police were called to Garner Drive, Salford just after 9.20pm on Monday. They found a man aged 37 with his 34-year-old wife left handcuffed after their home had been robbed.

'Skull Cracker' In Custody In London
Kent Police, in partnership with officers from the Metropolitan Police Service, have arrested two men in East London on suspicion of conspiracy to commit armed robbery. On 3 May, Kent Police began a search for Michael Wheatley, 55, who had failed to return to HMP Standford Hill after being released on temporary licence.
