Woman Charged With Man's Murder
A woman has been charged with the murder of a man in Salford. Gary White, 33, of no fixed abode, was attacked in Fir Street and again on Elm Street on 3 July. He was admitted to hospital but discharged himself on Saturday. His condition subsequently got worse and he was taken to Arrowe Park Hospital, Wirral, where he later died. Jayne Poole, 22, of Tooley House, Eccles, has been charged with murder and will appear before Salford Magistrates' Court on Thursday.
Woman In Court On Murder Charge
A woman will appear in court charged with the murder of a 43-year-old man. The man, who cannot be named until police have contacted his next of kin, suffered a knife wound at his house in Crewe. He was taken to Leighton Hospital but was later pronounced dead. Nicola Dorricot, 46, was arrested after officers were called to her address in Hazel Grove at 12.40 on Tuesday. She will appear at South Cheshire Magistrates Court on Thursday. Yesterday, police carried out house-to-house inquiries in Hazel Grove and the surrounding area. Forensic officers cordoned off the house and nearby area while they examined the scene. Police say they are not looking for anyone else in connection with the incident.

Man Faces Baby Murder Charge
A man has appeared in court charged with the murder of a four-month-old baby girl. Craig Jamieson, 28, from Scotscoun, appeared before Glasgow Sheriff Court on Monday, where he was remanded in custody. Mr Jamieson was arrested on Friday, shortly after the baby died in Glasgow's Yorkhill Hospital, after being taken from her home in Partick.

Suspected London bomber to be returned to UK
A British man wanted for questioning in connection with the failed London bomb attacks on July 21 is to be extradited to the UK within 35 days, an Italian court has ruled. Osman Hussein (27) will appeal the decision to the Italian Supreme court, according to his lawyers.

Man in court over blast deaths
A man has appeared in court charged with murder and arson, following an explosion at a house in Staffordshire which killed four people. Mark Goldstraw (31) from Leek was remanded in custody after being charged with four counts of murder and one charge of arson. A man and three children died in the fire at the house in Cheddleton last Thursday.

A man has appeared before a district judge charged with murdering a woman and her baby. Wesley John Williams, 28, was charged with the murders of Yvonne Walsh, 25, and her seven-month-old son Harrison. Williams from Birmingham spoke only to confirm his name, date of birth and address.
