Police Appeal For Witnesses After London Murder
Police are appealing for witnesses after a man died from a single stab wound to the heart in Camberwell.
Officers were alerted to the incident just before 10.45pm in Northlands Street on 2 August.
The man, who has been named as Andrew Pratt, was treated by the London Ambulance Service at the scene.
Mr Pratt, 43, was taken to Kings College Hospital where he was pronounced dead at 11.50pm.
It is understood the victim was travelling home from his work at Emilio Pucci, Sloane Street, when there was an incident in the street with another man during which Mr Pratt was stabbed.
Police are keeping an open mind in regards to the circumstances and motive.
Detective Chief Inspector Will O'Reilly from the Homicide and Serious Crime Command said: "This has all the hallmarks of an innocent man who was walking home when he was attacked.
"I appeal to anyone who was in the area at the time, and who saw anything suspicious to contact us."
An incident room is open in Lewisham.

Twenty-Five Injured In M4 Coach Crash

Pratt's Bullying Charity Suspended
An anti-bullying charity at the centre of a row with Downing Street has been suspended. It is alleged some Whitehall staff had contacted the National Bullying Helpline to vent work-related anguish. The charity's boss Christine Pratt went public with the allegations prompting several anti-bullying patrons to resign.

Man Arrested Over Manchester Murder
Police investigating the murder of a 25-year-old man in Manchester last week have arrested a 70-year-old man. Craig Douglas was walking along Canal Street in the city last Monday evening with another man, when they were involved in an argument with two other men. Mr Douglas was then stabbed in the neck with a small knife.
