'Sugar, Spice and All Things Nice' - Mel C Expecting Baby
Mel C has revealed she is expecting her first baby.
The Spice Girl, real name Melanie Chisholm - who has been with her partner Thomas Starr for six years, is the last member of the chart topping band to have a child.
Fellow Spice Girl Melanie 'Scary' Brown, has two daughters. Victoria 'Posh' Beckham three sons and Geri 'Ginger' Halliwell has one daughter and Emma 'Baby' Bunton has a son.
Mel 'Sporty' Chisholm, 34, from Liverpool, revealed the "happy" news on her website.
She said: "Well, I can announce that Tom and I are expecting a baby and we are very happy.
"I will need to take some time off to be a mum, before you know it, we'll be back."
Chisholm added that she is "excited" to start writing for the fifth album.
A source told a newspaper: "The girls are so pleased for her and have said they're only a phone call away to pass on any parenting tips."
Last year, Chrisholm joined her Spice Girl bandmates for a reunion world tour.
The ex-Spice girl was credited with having the best voice in the band but allegedly battled eating disorders during the heyday of the all girl group.
As a solo artist she has released four albums and was nominated for a Brit Award.
The Spice Girls have sold more than 55 million records worldwide, with three albums landing them the title for the fastest selling girl group ever.

Baby Girl Dies In Dog Attack
An 11-month-old baby has died after being mauled by a pet dog, police in Lancashire have said. The baby girl, from Emily Street in Blackburn, died in hospital at about 23:00 on Monday. Police have arrested a 26-year-old man and a 20-year-old woman on suspicion of child neglect in connection with the incident.

Missing Baby Found 'Safe And Well'
A nine-month-old baby girl who was reported missing from her home in Glouchestershire on Monday has been found safe and well. Maylayah Delaney had been reported missing by her mother shortly before lunch-time on Monday. Police have confirmed that a man from the West Midlands is helping them with their inquiries.

Police Trace Mother Of Dead Baby Girl
Police have traced the mother of a dead baby girl whose body was found on a cycle track in Port Glasgow last month. The baby's body was found in a holdall by a jogger on September 26. Strathclyde Police confirmed that they had traced the 22-year-old mother of the baby.
