Police Investigate Alleged Barracks Sexual Assault
Police are investigating an alleged sexual assault at an Army training centre in Hampshire.
According to reports, officers searched The Prince Philip Barracks in Bordon, Hampshire, following reports from a female soldier of an alleged attack.
The incident is suspected to have taken place early on Saturday.
The Ministry of Defence (MoD) said that an incident had taken place at the barracks, but declined to comment further.
"Detectives in Alton are investigating an allegation of serious sexual assault," a Hampshire police spokesman said. "Officers are working closely with the Army. No-one has been arrested."
The barracks are home to the Army's School of Electrical and Mechanical Engineering.

A Premiership footballer has been sentenced to a jail term for assault and affray. Joey Barton, 25, of Widnes, has been jailed for six months for his part in an altercation outside a McDonald's restaurant in Liverpool last December.

GP Charged With Sexual Assault
GP, Imran Khalid Khan, has been charged with 12 counts of sexual assault, including seven relating to a girl under the age of 13. The charges relate to five alleged incidents in 2007 in Woolpit, near Bury St Edmunds, and seven last year in Brandon.

Car Parking Row Man Dies
A salesman has died after an alleged assault following an argument over a parking space. The 53 year-old man collapsed, shortly after 2pm on Tuesday, after being involved in the fight behind some shops in Griffnock, East Renfrewshire. He later died at the Victoria Infirmary in Glasgow.

Richards Arrested Over Alleged Assault
Manchester City defender Micah Richards has been questioned by police in relation to an alleged assault outside a nightclub. Manchester police quizzed the 20-year-old England international, who became the youngest defender to be capped by his country in 2006. He has been released on bail.
