Eight Arrests Over Post Office Shooting
Police investigating the death of a sub-postmaster's son during an armed raid have arrested eight people.
Craig Hodson-Walker, 29, was shot in the chest and died from gunshot wounds following a robbery in Fairfield, Worcestershire.
His 56-year-old father Ken was shot in the leg during the incident which took place at the village post office at 8.20am on Friday. He remains in a stable condition in hospital after surgery.
West Midlands Police confirmed four people were arrested on suspicion of murder and attempted murder.
Another four people were arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender, West Mercia Police said.

Arrests Follow Fatal Bilston Shooting
Three men have been held in connection with a fatal shooting in Bilston at the weekend. The 50-year-old male victim was shot in Tropical Harmony Nightclub at around 4.30am on Saturday morning. A second man was injured at the nightclub. His injuries are not life threatening.

Arrests Over Brutal Park Murder
Six arrests have been made in relation to the brutal murder of 17-year-old Amar Aslam, whose battered body was found in a park in West Yorkshire on Sunday evening. Five youths - aged from 12 to 15 - and a 20-year-old man have all been arrested in connection with the death, West Yorkshire Police have revealed.

Arrests Follow Teenager's Stab Murder
Six people have been arrested following the discovery of an 18-year-old woman who was found murdered in a Lancashire park. Louise Stephanie Evans, who was living in a hostel, suffered knife injuries and head wounds during the attack in Towneley Park, Burnley. Paramedics tried to save the girl, but she died at the scene.

Arrests Follow Headless Body Discovery
Police investigating the discovery of the headless body of a man in north-west London have arrested a man on suspicion of murder. It is understood that the man, believed to be in his 40s, was arrested in Alvaston in Derby on Thursday night. Another man and a woman were arrested at the same address on suspicion of assisting an offender.

Seven-year-old stabs neighbour
A seven-year-old has stabbed a woman several times following an argument at a neighbours home. The woman had been in an argument with the boy's mother when he stabbed her in the arm, leg and buttock. The victim was treated in hospital for serious, though not life threatening injuries.
