Following the official signing of a strategic alliance between Belfast City Centre Management Company and Belfast Chamber of Trade and Commerce in 2002, both organisations are committed to making Belfast City Centre an area of excellence for retail, business, arts and culture, leisure and entertainment. They also aim to provide a clean, safe, accessible and attractive environment for users and visitors to Belfast City Centre. This is achieved by promoting a wide variety of programmes to improve the city centre, including the Christmas lighting programme, marketing the shopping and leisure experience, a ‘Let’s Tidy Belfast’ campaign, retail radiolink and other crime reduction initiatives.
