Man arrested in connection with stabbing |
|
A man has been arrested in connection with the stabbing of a 29-year-old man in north Belfast at the weekend.
The incident occurred on the Antrim Road in early hours of Sunday morning and resulted in the death of the 29-year-old man.
Police, who have ruled out a sectarian or paramilitary motive for the killing, searched a number of houses in the area and items have been removed for forensic examination.
However, they have appealed for further information and called for anyone who was in or around the area at around 3am on Sunday to contact them.
