Physiotherapy
Andy is a highly qualified physiotherapist who graduated from Ulster University in 2015. With extensive experience in both private clinics and the NHS, he brings a wealth of knowledge to Portrush Physiotherapy.

Andy has a unique background as a former elite athlete, having competed globally in surf kayaking and winning the World Championships in 2011. This gives him a firsthand understanding of the physical demands of high-level sports and the challenges of recovering from injuries.

Andy works part time within the NHS as an advanced practice physiotherapist, specialising in complex orthopaedic cases. In this role, he regularly organises scans and x-rays as well as doing joint injections and working alongside the surgeons.

His expertise and personal experience make him exceptionally qualified to support athletes and individuals dealing with intricate orthopedic conditions.

Sports and Deep Tissue Massage
Paul is a Level 4 Sports Massage Therapist who specialises in sports and deep tissue massage for non-acute injuries, maintenance and aches + pains. You don’t have to be injured to benefit from massage!

Paul is a keen weightlifter and uses his knowledge of training throughout the years to ensure his clients get a good understanding of why muscles behave in a certain way. Having a strong sense of community drives him to give the best possible service to his clients so they can live life to their maximum.

Steroid Injections
Ellen is a specialist physiotherapist with over a decade of experience. She graduated with an MSc in Physiotherapy from Northumbria University in 2011 and is also a qualified non-medical prescriber and injector. As part of her role as an Advanced Physiotherapy Practitioner within the NHS, Ellen regularly provides injection services.

With extensive expertise in orthopaedic conditions, Ellen specialises in treating issues affecting muscles, joints, spinal discs, nerves, and tendons.

For those who do not respond to conservative methods such as rehabilitation or medication, Ellen provides steroid injections to relieve pain and enhance rehabilitation potential.
