Private MRI & Consultant Referral
At Portrush Physiotherapy, our Advanced Practice Physiotherapists offer a level of clinical expertise typically associated with specialist hospital settings. With extensive training in ordering and interpreting MRI scans, you can be confident that your care is guided by a deep understanding of both imaging and real-world clinical application.

Following a comprehensive assessment, we are able to refer you directly for a private MRI scan, removing the need to wait for a GP appointment.
In many cases, scans can be arranged within days, allowing treatment to begin sooner and improving the likelihood of better outcomes.

We also maintain close professional links with a network of trusted orthopaedic surgeons. Should specialist input be required, we can facilitate a timely referral for further consultation.
