G2 Environmental Services is a Belfast-based environmental and specialist services contractor working across industrial, commercial and public-sector environments. The team also undertakes internal and external high-level cleaning, including restricted-access areas and high-level ducting, using appropriate access equipment for the site and task involved.

For commercial properties, G2 offers window-cleaning solutions using Reach and Wash pole systems, traditional cleaning methods and high-level access solutions where required. Exterior and facade cleaning can also be incorporated into wider cleaning or facilities programmes.

Power washing is available for hard surfaces at ground and high level, including the removal of contaminants such as oil and chewing gum.

G2 carries out Asbestos Management Surveys and Refurbishment & Demolition Surveys in accordance with HSE guidance HSG264. Survey reports identify asbestos-containing materials, their location and the associated risks so duty holders can make informed decisions about management or removal.

G2 is an HSENI-licensed asbestos removal contractor. Licensable asbestos work is planned using site-specific method statements and plans of work, with trained employees carrying out the work directly. The company is also registered to transport hazardous waste, including asbestos-containing materials.

G2 provides oil-contamination and remediation services for domestic and commercial incidents. A leaking heating-oil or fuel tank can affect soil, buildings, buried services, drains and nearby watercourses, so early assessment and containment can be critical.

The company can manage oil-contamination investigation, remediation, excavation and reinstatement work, providing a coordinated response from the contaminated area through to site restoration.

G2's facilities-management services include grounds maintenance, gutter cleaning, facade cleaning, handyman and reactive maintenance, drain clearing and winter gritting support. Mobile maintenance teams can assist clients with routine and emergency property issues including joinery, decorating and emergency roofing repairs.

For winter preparation, G2 can supply permanent grit bins and rock salt so businesses and managed sites have materials available when low temperatures, frost or snow create slip risks.

Following fire or flooding, G2 can remove damaged debris, use specialist equipment to dry the building fabric and deep clean affected areas in preparation for redecoration and reoccupation.
