PSNI Traffic And Travel Advice Ahead Of Saturday Parades
Road users travelling through Belfast city centre this Saturday, 26 July, are advised to expect potential traffic disruption due to four planned parades and marches.
The first parade is scheduled to depart Donegall Pass at around 10.15am, proceeding along Bradbury Place, Great Victoria Street, and Wellington Place, before concluding at Belfast City Hall by 11.45am.
A second march will commence at 12pm from Writers Square, travelling via Donegall Street, Royal Avenue, Donegall Place, Donegall Square North, Donegall Square East, Donegall Square South, Bedford Street, Dublin Road, Shaftesbury Square, Bradbury Place, and University Road, aiming to finish at Crescent Gardens by 4pm.
The third event is set to begin at 1pm from the Albert Clock, moving along High Street, Bridge Street, Waring Street, Donegall Street, Royal Avenue, Donegall Place, Donegall Square North, Chichester Street, and Victoria Street, dispersing at the Ann Street junction.
Finally, the fourth parade will start at 3.30pm from Charlotte Street, taking a route including Donegall Pass, Shaftesbury Square, Great Victoria Street, Wellwood Street, Sandy Row, Donegall Road, Barrington Street, Abington Gardens, Donegall Road, Shaftesbury Square, Botanic Avenue, Posnett Street, Vernon Street, Walnut Street, Donegall Pass, and Pine Street, expected to conclude at Donegall Pass at around 7pm.
To minimise potential delays, motorists are encouraged to seek alternative routes where possible during these times. Police officers will be on duty to manage traffic flow and ensure public safety throughout the various events.

Marathon organisers warn of traffic disruption
Organisers of this year's 22nd Belfast City Marathon are warning motorists of the expected traffic disruption throughout most of Bank Holiday Monday. Disruption can be expected along the routes of both the main Belfast City Marathon and the associated Fun Run which begins at City Hall.

Christmas Lights To Be Switched On In Belfast
Traffic diversions will be put in place during the Christmas lights switch-on which is taking place in Belfast on Saturday, 19 November. Wellington Place, Donegall Square North, Donegall Square West, Chichester Street and Donegall Place will be closed between 5.30pm and 8.30pm.

Belfast Traffic Management Enters Final Phase
The final phase of Belfast city centre's traffic management arrangements is to get under way. The work to introduce new bus lanes as part of the Belfast on The Move initiative has now moved to Wellington Place, Chichester Street and Donegall Square East.
