Ford Parts Club Offers
Ford's Blue Oval Club has entered the new year offering independent parts retailers improved terms on almost 70% of key fast-moving products.
Blue Oval Club partners can purchase over 50 genuine Ford parts and accessory lines, extending their availability to motorists beyond the Ford dealer network.
Increased 2010 trade discounts on 36 of the 53 parts and accessories are being implemented following two and a half years' successful trading for Ford's Blue Oval Club.
Blue Oval Club partners sign a three-way agreement with Ford of Britain and their supplying Ford dealer.
There are now over 100 Blue Oval Club partnerships in operation.
Dave Kittle, Ford Blue Oval Club marketing manager, said: "As well as supporting franchised dealer network workshops, Ford is ensuring that Ford drivers of any model and age can access genuine Ford parts.
"Our work with the Ford dealer network, and the relationship we jointly have with independent motor traders in the Blue Oval Club, has enabled revenues to grow significantly in this channel in 2009.
"Going into 2010, we are offering stronger trading terms and support to further develop this important area of our business."
Typical parts and accessories available from Blue Oval Club partners include wear and tear items, exhausts, headlamps and clutch kits.
