NI website for secondary students launched

The Union of Secondary Students (USS), the first union of its kind in Ireland, has partnered with Studentalive.com in launching a new USS website, www.ussonline.net.

The website, which will be powered by Studentalive.com and will allow USS members to update the site with latest news and events, aims to provide the secondary school population throughout the country with useful information on what’s going on and policies effecting them.

Declan Treacy, Managing Director for Studentalive.com said: “Studentalive.com is delighted to announce our partnership with the Union of Secondary School Students.

“Our relationship with the USS further reinforces our commitment to providing students of all ages, in Ireland, with the best online and offline service, locally and nationally.”

Studentalive.com is an online media company for students across Ireland, providing localised advice, information and entertainment to all users.

Lyndsey O Connell from USS added: “It is imperative that the Union of Secondary Students has an easily accessible information source for both our members and the secondary students of Ireland. It is with great pleasure that we are in partnership with Studentalive.com. Studentalive.com have been supportive of both the existence and the growth of the USS. They have opened the door of online student communications”. (MB)
