Eiré Road Crashes Claim Many Lives
Gardaí are continuing with investigations into a number of fatal road traffic collisions that occurred over the weekend.
A female in her 50s was killed after she was struck by a truck in Dingle on Inch Strand shortly before 10am on Saturday. She was named as Gena Hill of Springfield, Kentucky, USA.
Also on Saturday, in a separate incident, a 46-year-old motorcyclist, named as Noel Dwyer, of Ballymote was fatally injured when the bike he was riding was in collision with a van at Stonepark in Ballymote.
Another collision occured at Carrigeen, Croom, in County Limerick on Friday and involved a motor-cyclist and a car. The male motorcyclist, named as Christopher Ryan, 28, was fatally injured.
Gardai have also named those killed over the weekend in separate fatal road traffic collisions. They include: Tom Connors, 7, of Clonroche in Wexford and Niall Reddin, 36, of Battery Road in Longford Town.
Gardai are appealing for anyone who witnessed the collisions or who can assist with the investigations to contact the Confidential Telephone Line.

'Plan Ahead' For St Patrick's Day Events This Weekend
Belfast City Council has outlined traffic and travel arrangements ahead of this Sunday's St Patrick's Day event in Belfast. A number of traffic diversions will be in place in and around Belfast city centre. Visitors and participants are advised to plan their journey in advance and leave extra time to travel to and from the city centre.

Number Of Roads Remain Closed Following Storm Ali

Appeal Issued After Spate Of Robberies In Coleraine
The PSNI have issued an appeal for information following a number of report of thefts in the Coleraine area. Police received a report that overnight on Friday, 24 February, someone had gained to a property in the Knockaduff Road area, taking away a scrambler motorbike and helmets.
