Cinemagic's Partnership The 'Key To Success'

Cinemagic International Film and Television Festival for Young People and Coca-Cola HBC Northern Ireland are celebrating the continuation of their partnership ahead of the highly anticipated opening of the 21st Anniversary Cinemagic Festival in Belfast on 16th November.

Coca-Cola HBC Northern Ireland is entering its fifth year as title sponsor of the Cinemagic Festival and has been working in partnership with Cinemagic on various projects and fundraising initiatives for more than eight years. During this time, the partnership has won several awards, including the 2010 Allianz Arts and Business Sustained Partnership Award.

Each year the partnership has delivered inspirational events for young people, unlocking their potential and creativity, while helping them take their first steps into the film and television industry.

Joan Burney Keatings, Cinemagic Chief Executive said: “Cinemagic has enjoyed a mutually beneficial relationship with Title Sponsor Coca-Cola over the last four years and we are delighted to be able to continue working together to develop the relationship further in 2011. We work together every year to offer young people, from all backgrounds, opportunities in the creative industries and we strive to unlock the potential in young people who participate in the festival events. The Festival has grown hugely over the years and with valued support from Coca-Cola, it is now a major event on the cultural calendar in Northern Ireland.”

This year is action packed with more than 150 film screenings from all over the world. There will be over 16 days of workshops, competitions, masterclasses and exciting film related events for young people. The Coca-Cola Cinemagic International Film and Television Festival runs from 16th November- 2nd December with highlights including the ever popular Young Filmmaker Competition, Cinemagic Stars, Talent Lab and Young Jury panel. The festival culminates with the Cinemagic Gala Awards which take place in Belfast’s historic City Hall on 2nd December, where the winning films of the festival will be announced and young filmmakers and new talent awarded.
