Student Jailed Over Ecstasy Pills
A student has been jailed for dealing ecstasy tablets at Queen's University last year.
22-year-old Zach Batten, of Saintfield Road, Belfast, was handed a two-month sentence after pleasing guilty to possession of Class A and B drugs with intent to supply.
He was arrested at Queen's University Students' Union two days after Christmas last year with 11 ecstasy tablets and over £200 in cash in his possession.
He was granted bail pending a planned appeal against the sentence imposed.
The judge included a night-time curfew and £2,000 surety as part of his release conditions.
Man Arrested Over Serious Assault
A man has been arrested over the serious assault of a man in Broughshane, County Down.
A 33-year-old was attacked on 19 September in the Rocaven Meadows area at about 7pm.
A 31-year-old man was arrested on Thursday and is being held at Ballymena PSNI Station.
Teen Arrested Over Lisburn Flat Arson
A teenage boy has been arrested as part of investigations into arson at a flat in Lisburn.
The fire was discovered at a property in the Drumbeg Drive area at 11.30pm on Monday by police.
A 15-year-old boy was arrested on suspicion of arson with intent to endanger life, burglary and possession of an offensive weapon.
Appeal Launched Over Farm Machinery Theft
An appeal has been launched for information after farm machinery worth about £13,000 was stolen in the Ballycraigy area of Newtownabbey.
The theft took place at premises on Antrim Road last Thursday at 8:20.
The stolen equipment included a blue New Holland 4835 tractor, registration number VIW 8196, chassis number 001146252 and engine number 464671 along with a red and galvanised metal coloured brush system for a New Holland tractor and a grey wooden 15' x 5' trailer.

A 43-year-old man has been arrested in connection with an incident at a house in Coleraine, Co L'Derry. It happened at a property on Knockantern Grove in the Mountsandel area on Tuesday, 16 August. Man Arrested On Suspicion Of Attempted Murder
A man has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder over an attack in Coleraine, Co L'Derry. A man, aged in his 50s, is in a critical condition in hospital after he was assaulted at a house on the Ballycastle Road on Monday, 26 September. Two other men were also arrested and have been released on bail pending further enquiries.

Man Charged Over Murder Of Anne O'Neill
A 27-year-old man has been charged with the murder of Anne ONeill. The 51-year-old victim died from her injuries following an incident at a house in the Ardmore Avenue area in Finaghy on Saturday, 21 October. The suspect is due to appear before Belfast Magistrates' Court on Wednesday, 25 October.
