Co Londonderry Police Seize Cannabis Plants
Police in Limavady have seized some 30 cannabis plants following the search of a house in the Glenbank Walk area.
A man aged in his 40s was arrested in connection with the seizure.
He has since been released on bail pending further inquiries.
Man Charged With Firearm And Ammunition Offences
A man has appeared in court charged in connection with the discovery of ammunition in his north Belfast flat.
49-year-old Stephen Jones was arrested on board a bus for Enniskillen a few hours after the search of his flat. Among the ammunition recovered there was types used in punishment shooting and assault rifles, according to police.
He is charged with possessing a firearm and ammunition in suspicious circumstances.
He was refused bail due to fears he may flee or reoffend.
Haass Back In NI To Continue Talks
Dr Richard Haass is back in Northern Ireland to continue talks with the Executive.
Dr Haass spent Thursday in Dublin meeting with Irish Prime Minister Enda Kenny and Deputy Prime Minister Eamon Gilmore in Dublin.
He also met with Northern Ireland Secretary Theresa Villiers in London on Tuesday.
The former US envoy is chairing talks on flags, parading and dealing with the past - areas that have proven difficult for the NI parties to resolve.

Man Arrested Under Terrorism Act
A man has been arrested under the Terrorism Act in Co Tyrone. The 34-year-old was detained in the Coalisland area on Tuesday, 19 June. He is currently in custody at Musgrave police station. The arrest is in relation to a weapons and ammunition find at a garage in the Mountjoy Road in 2011.

Officers from the Paramilitary Crime Task Force carried out a search in the Mark Street area on Monday, 08 January. The 27-year-old suspect has been detained in police custody. He is currently being questioned at Musgrave Police Station.
