Security Alert Ends At QUB Campus
A security alert was started at Queen's University on Monday night following the discovery of a suitcase on the campus.
The alert also led to a pharmaceutical conference being abandoned at the venue.
Health Minister Edwin Poots has been due to host the conference at the university's Great Hall, where 19 international firms were to attend.
Army technical officers attended the scene, but "nothing untoward" was found during the investigation.

Suspicious Object Sparks Security Alert In Co Tyrone
A suspicious item thrown into a car has sparked a security alert in Co Tyrone. The object in the vehicle was reported at Innisfree Gardens in Strabane approximately 8.15am on Wednesday. A number of homes have been evacuated while army bomb disposal experts attend the scene.

Residents Evacuated In North Belfast Alert
Residents have been forced to evacuate their homes in north Belfast following a report of a suspicious object in the area. The homes in Clifton Crescent were evacuated after the report of an object in the area on Monday afternoon. An army bomb squad has been tasked to the scene and the area has been closed to traffic.

Danny Kinahan, Ulster Unionist MLA for South Antrim, has condemned those responsible for a bomb alert near Ballyclare Police Station this morning. Local people had to be evacuated from their homes and children making their way to school were also put at risk.

Suspicious Object Sparks L'Derry Security Alert
Families have been evacuated from their L'Derry homes amid reports of a suspicious device in the area. A police operation in the vicinity of Clon Elagh, just off the Skeoge Road, was sparked this afternoon, Monday 15 April, after an object was discovered. Local residents have been asked to evacuate the area as a precaution. Police are at the scene.
