Two Arrested After West Belfast Car Chase
Two men have been arrested after a car chase in west Belfast on Tuesday.
Police reported that a patrol car gave chase after a blue BMW failed to stop at a check point on Lanark Way on Tuesday afternoon.
It is understood that while trying to escape police, the BMW collided with a number of other vehicles, including a police car, on Springfield Road before being stopped.
The driver and a passenger were arrested at the scene.
The driver of the car is facing charges of dangerous driving and using a motor vehicle without insurance.
He is due to appear before Belfast Magistrates' Court on Wednesday.

A man has been arrested following a police chase in Lisburn, Co Antrim. The pursuit started on the Brokerstown Road on Monday at around 4.30pm. Police tried to stop the silver Vauxhall Vectra after it was seen driving erratically. However, the car took off at speed onto the Knockmore Road and caused other drivers to swerve out of its way.

A man has been arrested on suspicion of drink driving after a police car chase in west Belfast. The PSNI saw a red Volkswagen driving in the Beechmount area with no lights on. They signalled for the vehicle to stop, however a pursuit commenced onto the Falls Road where it was stung by other officers from the auto crime team.

Detectives were carrying out an anti-burglary operation in the Lower Newtownards Road area on Friday, 20 October, and they signalled for a black Ford Fiesta to stop. The car made off and officers chased it and used a stinger device to try to stop the vehicle.

Police Officers Injured In Chase
Four police officers have been injured following a police chase in County L'Derry. A Nissan Juke car was stolen in the Racecourse area on Thursday night and made off towards the Glenshane Pass. Police chased the car after they discovered it on the Fallaghloon Road in Maghera, and it resulted in both vehicles crashing into one another.
