Met Office Issues Yellow Weather Warning

The Met Office has issued a yellow weather warning for wind across Northern Ireland.

The alert has been put in place for Friday and Saturday.

Severe winds with gusts of up to 45 to 55mph are expected in some areas and forecaster have warned of difficult driving conditions.

Motorists are being urged that driving conditions may be difficult and are being asked to take extra care on the roads.

A warning of possible disruptions to travel due to the wind has also been issued.
