Met Office Issues Yellow Warning For Wind
The Met Office has issued a yellow weather warning for wind in Northern Ireland.
The warning has been put in place on Monday, 16 October, and Tuesday, 17 October.
Gusts of up to 60mph are expected some areas and heavy rain is also expected which may cause delays on the roads.
Driver are being urged to take care.

The Met Office has issued a yellow wind warning for all of Northern Ireland, which is in effect from 1.00pm until 11.00pm today, Thursday, 30 October 2025. The alert warns of strong south to south-easterly winds that will strengthen throughout the afternoon and evening, potentially causing damage and disruption across the region.

The Met Office has issued a yellow weather warning for wind across Northern Ireland. The alert has been put in place for Friday and Saturday. Severe winds with gusts of up to 45 to 55mph are expected in some areas and forecaster have warned of difficult driving conditions.

The warning issued by the Met Office for heavy rainfall is in place from midnight on Saturday until 12pm on Sunday, October 19. Flooding of homes and businesses is likely and bus and train services may be affected as well as spray and flooding on roads.
