Pensioner Left Badly Shaken Following Robbery In Co Armagh

A pensioner has been left badly shaken following a robbery in Co Armagh.

The incident occurred at a house in the Tirmacrannon Road area of Loughgall on Tuesday evening.

The victim, aged in his 80s, was pushed against a kitchen counter by the intruder who also stole his wallet.

The suspect is described as being aged in his 20's or 30's and was wearing a grey coloured coat, grey trousers and a hat.

The man was not injured but was left badly shaken.

Police are appealing for anyone with information to contact them.

Police have arrested a suspect following the discovery of a number of suspected firearms in Co Antrim. A quantity of ammunition and imitation firearms were also seized during the raid of a flat in Carrickfergus on Tuesday 21. Pensioner Dies In Co Down Collision
A pensioner has died in a collision in Co Down. The man aged in his 70's was involved in a single vehicle crash at Roddens Road, Ballywalter on Tuesday morning, 21 January. He was pronounced dead at the scene. Police are conducting enquiries to determine his cause of death.

Woman Left Badly Shaken Following Armed Robbery In North Belfast
A woman has been left badly shaken following an armed robbery at a Chinese takeaway in north Belfast. The incident occurred at premises on the Cliftonville Road area at around 12.30am on Saturday. A man armed with a knife threatened staff and made off with a sum of cash.

Petrol Bombs Thrown At Co Antrim Flat
An investigation is underway after petrol bombs were thrown at a flat in Co Antrim. Two petrol bombs were thrown at a ground floor property in Brookfield Gardens, Ahoghill on Wednesday night, 22 January. One device smashed through the living room window and landed in the room where a male occupant extinguished the flames.
