Gran Fondo Returns To NI

The Gran Fondo is to return to Northern Ireland this weekend.

Some disruption is expected as the cycling event takes place on Sunday, 05 June. Controlled gateway crossings will be in operation.

Further details, as well as route maps and road closures can be found on the Gran Fondo website here.

It is the second time the event has been held in the region. The first was in June 2015 as a legacy to the Giro d'Italia race which commenced in NI in 2014.
