Police Appeal Following Paramilitary Attack In North Belfast
Police are appealing for information after a man was shot twice in each foot in north Belfast.
The incident happened in the Jamaica Road area on Wednesday, 09 June, at around 11pm.
Three men dragged the victim, aged 36, into an alleyway and carried out a paramilitary-style shooting.
He is being treated in hospital, however his injuries are not believed to be life threatening.
The gang were dressed in dark clothing and had scarves covering their faces.
Police are appealing for anyone with information to contact them.

Police Officers Disciplined For Failing To Tell Doctor About Woman's Head Injuries
Two police officers have been disciplined after they failed to let their colleagues and a police doctor know that a woman had sustained a head injury, a Police Ombudsman investigation has concluded. The woman died from bleeding to the brain on 24 February 2014, the day after she suffered the injury.

Police are appealing for information following a robbery at a shop on Connsbrook Avenue, east Belfast, which occurred yesterday, Wednesday, 23 July. Detective Sergeant McGearty reported that shortly before 10:00, a masked man, armed with a knife, entered the premises and demanded that a staff member open the till.

Police are reissuing their appeal for information following a report of a sexual assault in the Glen Road area of West Belfast on Monday, 19 May. Chief Inspector Claire Hamilton stated that at approximately 5:50am, police received a report that a female jogger had been approached by an unknown male and subjected to an assault.
