Man Stabbed In West Belfast

A man has been injured in a stabbing attack in west Belfast.

The assault happened in the Springfield Avenue area just before 9.20pm on Tuesday, 25 October.

The victim, aged in his 30s, sustained a stab wound to his back after being attacked by a number of men.

His injuries are not believed to be life threatening.

Police are appealing for anyone with information to contact them.

Man stabbed in west Belfast attack
A 32-year-old man has been stabbed in west Belfast shortly after 1am this morning. The man had been walking along the Springfield Road with a male friend when the attack took place. He was admitted to hospital and is being treated for a number of small puncture wounds to the shoulder, neck and lower back as well as tendon damage to the right wrist.

Man Stabbed In West Belfast
A man is in a serious condition in hospital after being stabbed in west Belfast. The attack happened in the Hawthorn Street area at around 1.40pm on Thursday. The victim is believed to be in his 30s. A section of Hawthorn Street was closed and police examined the area. Police are appealing for anyone with information to contact them.

Man Shot In West Belfast
A man has been shot in both legs in a paramilitary style attack in west Belfast. The attack occurred in the Ardmonagh Gardens area shortly before 9pm on Saturday, 25 June. The victim was taken to hospital however his injuries are not believed to be life threatening. Police are appealing for anyone with information to contact them.

Four Men Arrested Over Explosive Device In West Belfast Released
Four men arrested in connection with an explosive device in west Belfast last year have been released from custody. The device was found in the Pantridge Road area on 30 October. Three men arrested under the Terrorism Act have been released unconditionally.
