Tourism 'Evolve Or Die' Conference Announced

Tourism NI has announced a "must-attend" industry conference that will keep you "ahead of the game".

Featuring international keynote speakers Dr Deep Parekh and Polo Looser, the 'Evolve or Die!' conference at Belfast's Waterfront Hall on 16 March, will demonstrate why corporate strategic thinking is undergoing a dramatic revolution and what this means for business.

The event is aimed at senior management with a role in strategic planning, and will be attended by event managers and Association heads from GB and ROI as well as the local business tourism sector.

Keynote speaker - Dr Deep Parekh

Deep is Co-Founder and Managing Partner at Asteroidea AG, a boutique Swiss advisory and investment firm focusing on business strategy and transformation. He is a serial entrepreneur, having co-founded two previous companies, and has served in an executive management role in global management consulting firms, serving clients such as Starbucks, Unilever, and Roche. On the academic front, Deep has a PhD from the Swiss Federal Institute of Management & Technology, at which he has also created a new think-tank in the digital transformation space. Deep lives with his wife and his 6-year old daughter in Lausanne, Switzerland.

Keynote speaker - Polo Looser

Polo Looser is Co-Founder and Managing Partner at Asteroidea AG. He has worked as an Executive with international P&L with responsibility in high growth global companies for over 20 years. His background is in the Healthcare and the Meetings Industries with focus on strategy execution.

He earned his Executive MBA in Business Transformation at the University of St. Gallen and Santa Clara (Silicon Valley) and also earned his CMM certification. Polo and his family live near Zurich, Switzerland.
