PSNI Granted Extra Time To Question Man Over Fatal Stabbing

Police have been granted extra time to question a man arrested in connection with a fatal stabbing in Belfast.

Hazem Ahmed Ghreir, aged in his 30s, died following the incident in the Downshire Place area on Sunday, 04 June.

Police have also released an image of the victim on behalf of his family.

The PSNI are not treating the attack as a hate crime.

According to police, it was reported that a person had found tickets for the concert on an online platform.

Man Charged With Bangor Stabbing Murder
Police have charged a 35-year-old man with murder in connection with a fatal stabbing in Bangor, Co Down. The man is due to appear before Newtownards Magistrates Court this morning, Friday 16 July. He has been charged following the death of a 53-year-old man at a property on Beatrice Road on Wednesday 14 July.

Police question man following fatal shooting
Police are questioning a man in connection with a fatal shooting in Co Down on Thursday. Johnny Graham was shot as he parked his car at a house in the nationalist Ardcarne Park area of Newry at about 1am. The 20-year-old died in hospital a short time later.
