Yellow Warning For Strong Winds Issued In NI
A yellow weather warning for strong winds and gales has been issued in Northern Ireland.
The warning has been put in place from 00.05am on Monday, 02 October, until 11.55pm.
Gusts of up to 50-60mph are likely to develop, according to the Met Office.
A spokesperson from the Met Office said: "Gale or severe gales strongest along north coast early to mid-morning, before gradually easing through the rest of day. Rather cloudy with showers, these heavier and most frequent across northern districts such as the Causeway Coast and Glens, easing later."

The Met Office has issued a yellow weather warning for rain across Northern Ireland and Scotland on Saturday, 09 June. Slow-moving heavy thunderstorms are expected to develop on Saturday afternoon between 12am – 9pm, with potentially up to 20mm of rain to fall in less than an hour and 30 – 50mm possible in three hours.
