Investigation Launched After Pupil Knocked Down In Hit-and-Run

Police have launched an investigation after a school pupil was knocked down in a hit-and-run incident in Omagh.

The pupil was using a pedestrian crossing on the Kevlin Road on Friday, 17 November.

A PSNI spokesperson said: "At 9am it was reported that a pupil was struck by a vehicle when using a pedestrian crossing on their way to school at Kevlin Road and received minor injuries as a result of this.

"I would ask that anyone with information contact 101 quoting 463 of 16/11/17, or if they wish to remain anonymous Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”

Appeal Following Fatal Collision On Curr Road
The PSNI have issued an appeal for information following a fatal road traffic collision on Tuesday, 05 march between Omagh and Ballygawley. Shortly before 7.25pm on Tuesday evening, police received a report of a collision on the Curr Road involving a white BMW 320 and blue Scania lorry.

Man Arrested After Andersonstown Road Crash
The PSNI have arrested a man in his 40s after a single vehicle crash in west Belfast. The collision happened on the Andersonstown Road at around 9.40pm on Thursday evening, 18 January. Police said the man was arrested at the scene on suspicion of driving whilst unfit through drink or drugs and was subsequently released on bail.
