Appeal Issued After Attempted Robbery In West Belfast

Police are appealing for information after two men, one armed with a knife, attempted to rob a shop in west Belfast.

The incident happened in the Kennedy Way area at around 5.25pm on Saturday, 02 December.

The men demanded money from staff, however they made off empty handed.

A 30-year-old man was arrested a short time later on the Andersonstown Road.

He has been detained in police custody.

Police are appealing for anyone with information to contact them.

The woman died from bleeding to the brain on 24 February 2014, the day after she suffered the injury.

Police are appealing for information following a robbery on Glen Parade in West Belfast. The incident occurred at around 11pm on Monday, 14 May. On Facebook, PSNI West Belfast said: "The victim was robbed of a black leather handbag and a small quantity of cash.
