Armed Man Arrested Over Incident At Offices In Belfast

A 42-year-old man has been arrested in connection with an incident at an office complex in Belfast.

A man, believed to have been armed with a knife, entered the building in the Upper Queen Street area at around 9.40am on Tuesday, 12 December.

The PSNI attained the scene and detained a man on suspicion of possessing an article with blade or point in a public place.

He is currently assisting police with their enquiries.

A man armed with a handgun has robbed an off-licence in the University Road area of south Belfast. Shortly after 7pm, a man entered the premises and produced a handgun and demanded money from the till. The man made off with an undisclosed sum of money.

Man Shot In County Down
A 28-year-old man has been shot in the leg in a gun attack in County Down. The man was getting out of his car at the Quays in Killyleagh at about 1.00am on Wednesday morning when a man approached him and shot him. The man is recovering in hospital where his injuries are not thought to be life threatening.

Co Fermanagh man suffers broken nose in robbery
A Co Fermanagh man has suffered a broken nose after being assaulted by two men at his home in Enniskillen. The 65-year-old man was confronted by two men who forced their way into his home on Sunday. They then assaulted him before robbing his home. It is understood that a sum of money was taken during the robbery.
