Man Stabbed Several Times In Craigavon

A man, aged in his 50s, is being treated in hospital following a stabbing attack in Craigavon.

The assault happened in the Derrytrasna Lane area at around 7.40pm on Monday, 18 December.

The victim sustained injuries to his neck, face and abdomen, however his injuries are not believed to be life threatening.

A 69-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder, possession of an offensive weapon and wounding with intent to do grievous bodily harm.

Police are appealing for anyone with information to contact them.

Police have arrested a 25-year-old man in on suspicion of attempted murder following an incident on the Limestone Road in north Belfast on Friday night. A 25-year-old man was taken to hospital for treatment for injuries sustained during the attack, in which a number of people are believed to have been involved.

Two Held After Lisburn Stabbing
A man has been arrested after a 24-year-old man was stabbed in the head in Lisburn over the weekend. The victim was attacked in the Tonagh Drive area shortly before 7pm on Sunday. He suffered injuries to his head and arms and was taken to hospital for treatment. His current condition has been described as stable.

Man due in court charged with attempted murder
A 34-year-old man is due to appear before Belfast Magistrates Court charged with attempted murder. The charge relates to an attack on a 50-year-old man in east Belfast, on Tuesday. Police received a report at around 10.30pm on Tuesday night that a man had been seriously assaulted on the Greenville Road in the Beersbridge Road area of the city.

Coach collides with lorry injuring 13 people
Thirteen people have been injured in a collision involving a lorry and a coach at the Beechhill crossroad near Keady in County Armagh. The collision took place at around 11.30am on Monday 6 August, with the injured being taken to Craigavon Area hospital suffering from neck and back injuries.
