Man Has Part Of Ear Bitten Off In Attack In South Belfast

A man has had part of his ear bitten off during an attack in south Belfast.

The 20-year-old victim was assaulted at licensed premises in the Malone Road area at around 11.55pm on Saturday, 03 February.

He received hospital treatment.

A PSNI spokesperson said: "Detective Sergeant Gardiner would appeal to anyone who may have witnessed this assault to contact Detectives at Criminal Investigation Branch, Musgrave on the non-emergency number 101, quoting reference 1561 03/02/18. Alternatively, information can also be provided to the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111, which is 100% anonymous and gives people the power to speak up and stop crime."

Man Assaulted In South Belfast
A man is being treated in hospital following a serious assault in south Belfast. It is believed the man in his early 40s was assaulted in the Donegall Avenue area at 3.00am on Monday. The man’s condition is said to be serious but not life threatening and detectives at Musgrave Street are appealing for witnesses.

Man assaulted in South Belfast
A 19-year-old man has been injured during a serious assault in South Belfast. The attack took place in an entry off Elm Street in the Donegal Pass area of the city. Police were informed of the attack shortly after 8pm last night.
