Public Consultation On Local Policing Launched

The PSNI and Policing Board have launched a public consultation to explore how police can best meet public needs and demands and deliver the most effective local policing.

Launching the consultation, the PSNI said: "Society is changing, crime is changing and policing is changing. We need your help to build a police service that can meet these challenges.

"We want to hear what you need and want from us, how you think we can do things better and more effectively.

"We have developed a priority simulator to help you show us how you would allocate police resources if you were boss for the day. We also want to hear your answers to a few simple questions.

"You can take part here.

"You can also attend consultation meetings in your local area which will take place over the coming weeks. Details are available here.

"Help us to be a better police service."
