Paint Thrown At House In Racially Motivated Hate Crime

Police have said they are treating an attack on a home in south Belfast as a racially motivated hate crime.

The incident occurred in Connaught Street at around 11.10pm last night, Tuesday 23 April.

A window was smashed and paint thrown over the front door.

Enquiries are ongoing.

Paint Bombs Thrown In Race Motivated Hate Crime
Police are treating a paint bomb attack on a house in Newtownabbey as a racially motivated hate crime. Two men, two women and a young child were inside the Fernagh Avenue house when it was targeted in the early hours of Sunday morning, 24 November. Red paint was splattered over the front of the property at around 00.25am.

Man Assaulted In Racially Motivated Hate Crime
Police are appealing for information after a racially motivated assault in north Belfast. Two unknown males set upon the victim, a man in his 30's, in the Ligoniel Road area on Sunday morning, 03 March. The man received cuts to his head and above his eye, before the culprits made off towards the Crumlin Road area.

Man And Woman Arrested Over North Belfast Hate Crime
Police have arrested a man and woman on suspicion of criminal damage in connection with an attack on a house in the Woodvale area of Belfast. A number of windows at the front of the house in Broom Street in the north of the city were smashed at about 20:40 on Monday night.
