Weather Warning As Heavy Rain Forecast

The Met Office has issued a yellow weather warning covering Northern Ireland for later this week.

Loyalist celebrations may be disrupted on Thursday 11 July as heavy showers and thunderstorms are expected to cause issues on the roads.

The warning comes into effect at 12 noon and is in place through to 9pm, with much of the region covered, including counties Armagh, Antrim, Down, L'Derry and Tyrone.

There is a chance of train and bus delays and even cancellations, with some homes or businesses possibly affected by flooding. Power cuts may also occur.
