Arrest After Pair Stabbed In Portrush

A male in his late teens has been arrested following a stabbing in Portrush.

Two men, ages in their 20's and 30's, sustained stab wounds during an altercation at Glentaisie Park at around 10.30pm on Thursday 25 July.

Their injuries are not believed to be life threatening.

A male in his late teens was arrested following the incident and remains in police custody.

Police have appealed for witnesses or anyone with dash-cam footage from the vicinity to contact detectives in Coleraine on 101 quoting reference 2229 of 25/07/19. Information can also be provided confidentially via Crimestoppers by calling 0800 555 111.

Further Arrest Over Antrim ATM Raid
Detectives probing the theft of a double ATM unit from a supermarket in Antrim have arrested a man. The 28 year-old is detained on suspicion of conspiracy to steal and possession of class B controlled drugs. The ATM was stolen from a Tesco store in the early hours of Friday morning, 06 December. A digger was used to prise the unit from the wall.

Shot Fired At House In Co Tyrone
A man has escaped injury after a shot was fired at a house in Coalisland, Co Tyrone. The incident took place in Pinebank Gardens shortly before 9pm on Sunday night, 08 December. The front window of the house was damaged, however a man who was inside at the time was uninjured.

One person dead following road collision
One person has died following a road traffic collision in County Tyrone. The accident, which happened shortly before 8am this morning, took place on the Washingbay Road in Coalisland. It is understood the victim was a male in his late teens. One vehicle was involved in the incident. There are no further details at present.
