L'Derry Assault Victim Urged To Come Forward
Police have appealed for a man who was set upon by a group of youths in L'Derry to come forward.
The victim is urged to make himself known to police after he was assaulted in the Peace Gardens convenient to the city's Foyle Street.
The incident occurred at around 9pm on Tuesday evening, 14 January.
A video showing the assault was later circulated on social media, however the victim has not yet been identified.
Investigating officer Constable Robinson encouraged anyone who can identify the man or any of those involved to contact police on non-emergency line 101 quoting reference number 1744 of 14/01/20, to allow the investigation to proceed.

Man Wanted In Lithuania Arrested In Magherafelt

Man Arrested For Headbutting Female Police Officer
A 22-year-old man has been arrested in Newry for assaulting a police officer. While responding to a domestic related report, a local female officer was headbutted to the head, which caused swelling and bruising. The officer was seen by medical staff and her injuries were not more serious and she felt well enough to remain on duty.

A 59-year-old man has been arrested at Birmingham Airport in connection with a fatal mortar attack in Newry in 1992. The man was arrested on Wednesday, 21 February by detectives from PSNI's Legacy Investigation Branch, investigating the murder of Constable Colleen McMurray and the attempted murder of her colleague in 1992.

Appeal For Information On 'Nasty' Robbery In Omagh
PSNI detectives have issued an appeal for information following a "nasty" robbery in Omagh. Police received a report, that at around 1.30am on Monday, 19th February a man aged in his in his 40s was cycling in the Cranny Road area of the town, alongside the river, when he was set upon by a group of six people, dressed in dark clothing with hoods up.
