Suspect Charged Over Belfast Stabbing
A 27 year-old man is facing a charge of attempted murder following a stabbing at a house in Belfast.
The suspect is due to appear at Belfast Magistrates Court this morning, Friday 17 January.
A man was hospitalised for treatment to a number of stab wounds following the incident at a house in the Fortwilliam Parade area in the early hours of Thursday.
All charges will be reviewed by the Public Prosecution Service, as is normal procedure.

Man Arrested Over George Gilmore Murder
Police have arrested a 23-year-old man in connection with the murder of loyalist George Gilmore. Mr Gilmore, aged 44, was shot in the neck in Carrickfergus on Monday, 13 March. He died from his injuries in hospital the following day, 14 March. A 32-year-old man arrested on Sunday, 19 March, has been released.

Man arrested over Electoral Office fraud
A 58-year-old man from Co Tyrone has been arrested and charged following a police investigation into irregularities at an Electoral Office in the west of the province. The man was charged with 30 offences, 17 of which relate to theft and 13 of fake accounting. He will appear before a court in Omagh on November 11.

Accused man claimed he 'did not mean to kill wife'
A civilian PSNI employee has appeared before Ballymena Magistrates Court in Co Antrim today accused of murdering his wife. The court heard that when charged yesterday 46-year-old Adrian Baird of Loughloughlan Road in Broughshane said that he "did not mean to kill his wife".

The accused, who faces a charge of disorderly behaviour, is due to appear before Belfast Magistrates' Court on Friday, 14th August.
