Appeal As Defibrillator Stolen In West Belfast
Police have launched an appeal for information after a defibrillator was stolen from a shop in west Belfast.
It's understood the potentially lifesaving device was removed from the outside of a shop on the Glen Road in the early hours of Sunday morning, 26 January.
Detectives are appealing for information.
Chief Inspector Gillian Kearney said: "Defibrillators, with 24/7 access, are situated outside stores in key areas to help in medical emergencies. Whoever thought it was socially acceptable to steal such an important piece of equipment has shown a total disregard for the safety of the community in west Belfast."
Anyone who witnessed the incident or believes they have information that may lead to the recovery of the device is urged to contact police at Woodbourne on 101, quoting reference 818 of 26/01/20.
Details can also be provided anonymously via Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.

Police are reissuing their appeal for information following a report of a sexual assault in the Glen Road area of West Belfast on Monday, 19 May. Chief Inspector Claire Hamilton stated that at approximately 5:50am, police received a report that a female jogger had been approached by an unknown male and subjected to an assault.

Appeal For Information On West Belfast Burglary
Detectives in Belfast are appealing for information after a burglary in the Crocus Street area. Police said the incident occurred sometime between Saturday afternoon and 12.55am on Monday, December 9th. The homeowners returned to find their home ransacked. A watch, personal belongings, and a sum of cash were stolen.

Renewed Appeal For Information In West Belfast Murder Investigation
The PSNI's Major Investigation Team have renewed an appeal for information following the death of a man in west Belfast. A murder investigation was launched after a man was found seriously injured and unconscious in the Cupar Street area of the city on Wednesday evening, 6 March. The man passed away in hospital later that same night.

Neighbourhood Inspector Róisín Brown said: "Officers attended the scene along with our colleagues from the Northern Ireland Ambulance Service.
