Bomb Found In Lurgan Industrial Estate

Police are probing what's suspected as a dissident republican terrorist attack after a bomb was discovered in Lurgan.

The explosive device was found in the Silverwood Industrial Estate on Tuesday evening, 04 February, sparking a police operation.

Detective Superintendent Sean Wright said: "The device has been made safe and it is fortunate that no one has been hurt.

"Police continue to conduct extensive investigations into what is assessed to be a terrorist attack by dissident republicans."

Investigators have asked for the continued support and patience of the public as their enquiries continue.

Appeal Following Petrol Bomb Attack In Banbridge
The PSNI have issued an appeal for information following a petrol bomb attack in Banbridge, in the early hours of Tuesday 19th March.
