Man Released Over Malcolm McKeown Murder

A man arrested over the murder of Malcolm McKeown at a petrol station in Co Down last August has been released pending a report to the Public Prosecution Service.

The 27 year-old was detained in Belfast yesterday, Wednesday 19 February.

Mr McKeown, aged 54, was found dead in his car outside Dewart's Garage in Waringstown on Monday 19 August.

He had been shot six times.

Man Charged With Murder Following Coleraine Investigation
PSNI Detectives investigating the murder of Wayne Reid in Coleraine have charged a 33-year-old man. The individual has been charged with murder and is expected to appear before Coleraine Magistrate’s Court today, Monday 19 January. As is standard legal procedure, the charges will be subject to a review by the Public Prosecution Service.

Joe Reilly Murder: Man Arrested
A 51-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the murder of Joe Reilly. Mr Reilly, 43, was shot at his home in the Glenwood Court area of Poleglass, west Belfast, on 20 October. The suspect was arrested on Monday, 19 December, and has been taken to Musgrave Police station to be questioned.

Man appears in court on teenage murder charges
A 25-year-old man has appeared in court today charged with the murder of two teenagers in Co Armagh five years ago. Steven Leslie Brown denied murdering Andrew Robb, 19, and David McIlwaine, 18, on 19 February 2000. Both men were stabbed to death after leaving a disco in Tandragee.

Men Charged With Londonderry Murder
Two men have been charged with the murder of a 19-year-old man in Londonderry. Liam Devlin died in hospital after he suffered head injuries following a confrontation in the Linsfort Drive area of the Creggan estate at 2.30am on Saturday morning. Mr Devlin was from Burnfoot in County Donegal and the two accused are aged 19 and 20 years.
