Man And Woman Charged With Death Of 2-Year-Old Girl

Two people have been charged following the death of a two-year-old girl in Dungannon, County Tyrone.

The child died in hospital on Friday 06 August following an incident at an address in Park Avenue in Dungannon.

A 32-year-old man has been charged with murder and perverting the course of justice. And a 24-year-old woman has been charged with perverting the course of justice and causing or permitting the death.

They are due to appear before Omagh Magistrates' Court today, Tuesday 10 August.

North Belfast Stabbing Believed To Be Racially-Motivated Attack
Police have issued an appeal for information following a stabbing incident in north Belfast, which is believed to have been racially-motivated. Appeal For Information On Serious Assault In South Belfast
The PSNI have issued an appeal for information following a serious assault on a man in south Belfast. A man, aged in his 40s, is being treated in hospital after he was "brutally" assaulted inside a lift at Hartington Court off the Dublin Road, according to the police.
