Man Arrested Over Attempted Murder
A man, aged in his 80's, has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after a property was set on fire in Co Down.
The incident happened at a house in Annalong shortly after 9pm on Saturday, 21 August.
A PSNI spokesperson said: "Police received a report just after 9pm on Saturday night August 21, that a man had set fire to a property in the Glassdrumman Road area of the village.
"He was subsequently arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and arson with intent to endanger life.
"A man was taken to hospital, where he remains receiving treatment to injuries.
"We are appealing to anyone who was in the Glassdrumman Road area around the time, or who may have any information that could assist our inquiries, to contact 101."

Man Arrested On Suspicion Of Attempted Murder
A man has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder over an attack in Coleraine, Co L'Derry. A man, aged in his 50s, is in a critical condition in hospital after he was assaulted at a house on the Ballycastle Road on Monday, 26 September. Two other men were also arrested and have been released on bail pending further enquiries.

Man Released On Bail Over Lurgan Murder
A man arrested in connection with a murder in Lurgan on Sunday, 06 August, has been released on bail pending further enquiries. The body of a man, aged 45, was discovered at a flat on Victoria Street. Police are appealing for anyone with information to contact them.

A pensioner has been taken to hospital after being shot in the chest by a masked man in Ballycastle, County Antrim. The 74-year-old man was working in a shed at a property in the Islandboy Road area at about 20:45 on Thursday evening when the attacker approached and shot him.

PSNI Name Kilkeel Murder Victim As Bobbie McKee
The PSNI's Major Investigation Team have named the man who was murdered in Kilkeel on Thursday, 21st March as Bobbie McKee. Mr McKee, who was 69-years-old, was pronounced dead after his body was located in a property in the Newcastle Road area last Thursday afternoon following a report of a concern for safety for a couple.

Police officers investigating a two-vehicle road traffic collision in west Belfast have issued an appeal for witnesses and dash-cam footage On 10 January officers received a report of a collision involving a car and motorcycle at approximately 5.30pm at the junction of Divis Street and Westlink on-slip, in the city-bound lanes.
