US Fraud Suspect Arrested In North Belfast

The PSNI have arrested a man in north Belfast wanted in the United States over an alleged 'multi-million dollar fraud'.

According to reports, the 33-year-old man was arrested during "an intelligence led vehicle stop" at Clifton Street.

The operation is understood to have involved the PSNI's Extradition and International Mutual Assistance Unit, the ANPR Team, Roads Policing Unit and the Auto Crime Team.

The man is due to appear before the Extradition Court in Belfast later today.

Man Arrested Over Murder Of Conor McKee
A 42-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the murder of Conor McKee. Mr McKee was found dead at his home in Glenpark Street in north Belfast on Thursday, 07 January. He had been shot a number of times. The suspect is being questioned at a police station in Belfast.

Man arrested in connection with Lisa murder is released
The man arrested in connection with the murder of Bangor woman Lisa Dorrian has been released, police have said. The 18-year-old man was detained in the Greater Belfast area on Tuesday but has since been released without charge. The man is the fourth person to be questioned in connection with inquiries into the 25-year-old’s killing.

Five to appear in court in connecton with Bangor robbery
Five youths are to appear in Downpatrick Magistrates Court today charged in connection with the robbery of an off-licence in Bangor on Tuesday night. Two youths, who entered the premises on the Rathgael Road, assaulted two female members of staff before making off with a sum of money and alcohol.

Man Arrested Over Conor McKee Murder Released
A man arrested in connection with the murder of Conor McKee has been released. Mr McKee was found dead at his home was found dead at his home in Glenpark Street in North Belfast on Thursday, 07 January. He had been shot a number of times. He was on bail for drugs offences at the time of his murder.
