Police launch murder inquiry in Moneymore

Police are appealing for information after a man was found dead in Co Londonderry.

The 37-year-old man, who is of Asian origin, is believed to have been attacked at Rockview Park in Moneymore on Sunday.

The man succumbed to severe head injuries on Tuesday.

Two men have already appeared in court on Tuesday in connection with the incident. The men, aged 20 and 25, faced charges relating to causing grievous bodily harm and intimidation.

The victim's name has not yet been released.

Scam Warning Issued Following Taylor Swift Ticket Fraud
The PSNI in Derry City & Strabane have warned people to be wary of scammers following a report this week of a person who thought they'd bought tickets online for a Taylor Swift concert only to find out they'd been swindled. According to police, it was reported that a person had found tickets for the concert on an online platform.

Three Arrested In Connection With Ballymena Murder
Police are treating the death of a 69-year-old man from Ballymena as murder. The victim was discovered in the Drumtara area on Tuesday afternoon. Two men, aged 41 and 49, and a woman, 47, have been arrested and are in police custody. Police are appealing to anyone with information to contact them.

Pair charged over drug seizure
Two men have been charged with drugs offences after drugs worth an estimated £300,000 were seized by police. The drugs were found in a car stopped on the M2 on Saturday. One man, aged 56, and another, aged 24, have been charged with posession of a class A drug and posession of a class A drug with intent to supply.

Co Fermanagh man suffers broken nose in robbery
A Co Fermanagh man has suffered a broken nose after being assaulted by two men at his home in Enniskillen. The 65-year-old man was confronted by two men who forced their way into his home on Sunday. They then assaulted him before robbing his home. It is understood that a sum of money was taken during the robbery.
