Appeal For Missing Teenager Peter Montgomery
The PSNI have issued an appeal for help in tracing the whereabouts of 18-year-old Peter Montgomery.
The teenager was last seen the Stewart Street area of south Belfast on Wednesday evening.
He is described as 5' 8" tall, slim build, with brown hair. He has a scar on his right eyebrow and was last seen wearing a Hugo Boss baseball cap, black CP coat, grey track bottoms and black Nike trainers.
Anyone with information as to Peter Montgomery’s current whereabouts should contact Police tel.101 and quote reference 124 of 13/04/23.
Appeal For Information On Newry Burglary
Detectives are appealing for information following a report of burglary at residential premises in the Camlough Road area of Newry on Tuesday 11th April.
Detective Inspector Duffield said: "Sometime between 5:30pm and 6:30pm it was reported that entry was gained to a house in the area. It was reported that a number of rooms had been ransacked and enquiries are continuing to establish if anything was taken during the incident.
"We are particularly keen to speak with two men, believed to have been in the area at the time of the incident, who may be able to assist with our enquiries. The first man is described as of slim build, 5'6" tall in height and wearing a grey hoody with a black body warmer. The second man is described as around 5'7" in height, of slim build and wearing dark clothing. The males were seen getting into a silver Seat Leon before leaving the area.
"Our enquiries into this incident are continuing, and we are appealing to anyone who was in the area at the time and has any information, or who saw males matching the description, to call detectives on 101, quoting reference number 1932 of 11/04/23."
SF Welcomes 'Exciting Joint Bid' For Euro 2028
Sinn Féin MLA Deirdre Hargey has welcomed continued progress on the 'exciting joint bid' to host Euro 2028 in Ireland and Britain.
The party's communities spokesperson said:
"I am pleased to see continued progress and support for the joint Ireland and Britain bid to host the Euro 2028 tournament.
"This is an exciting opportunity to showcase our island by hosting one of the biggest tournaments in international football and it cannot be missed.
"The potential to host multiple major fixtures at football stadiums across Ireland and Britain, including a newly built Casement Park, is a huge boost for local sport.
"Work to build the new Casement Park must begin urgently to ensure this first-class venue is ready for the potential of Euro 2028 fixtures being played there.
"If successful in the joint bid, we will attract thousands of football fans from across Europe to our towns and cities, creating jobs and boosting our local economy.
"I welcome the continued efforts of both the IFA and GAA in working in partnership to make this happen, with the support of all parties to get this over the line."

The family of a man from Bangor, Co Down, are concerned for his safety, as he has not been in contact with them for over three weeks. Samuel Moore, 59, is described as being 5'8" tall, of heavy build, bald and has psoriasis on his head and face. Police said Samuel has no fixed address but he would usually wear hooded tops and tracksuit bottoms.

Paul McCoubrey was last seen leaving his New Barnsley Park home at 12.30pm on Saturday March 6. He is described as 5'6", of average build, short cropped dark hair, grey/blue eyes and a pale complexion.
