Woman Sexually Assaulted In Carrickfergus
A woman has been sexually assaulted in Carrickfergus.
The attack happened in the Oakfield Glen area at around 5pm on Monday.
She was approached from behind by an unknown man who attempted to remove items of her clothing before making off, according to the PSNI.
The man has been described as in his early 30s, white and approximated 6ft in height with a slim build.
He had short, dark curly hair, with light coloured facial stubble, and was wearing a plain black t-shirt with a round collar, navy denim jeans and dark coloured shoes.
Police are appealing to anyone with information to contact them.

The PSNI have issued a fresh appeal for help in tracing the whereabouts of Paula Elliott, who was last seen on Tuesday, 05 March. The 52-year-old was last seen on CCTV cameras leaving the Sprucefield Court area of Lisburn at 5.30pm, before making her way to Warren Gardens at around 5.36pm.
