Man Arrested In Connection With Banbridge Shooting
A 39-year-old man has been arrested in connection with a shooting incident in Banbridge on Friday 12 April.
Detectives investigating the shooting incident carried out a search of two properties in the Mullaghbawn and Banbridge areas on Wednesday, 17 April. The searches and arrest are part of an ongoing investigation into the shooting of a man, aged in his 40s, in a car park at Rathfriland Road in Banbridge on Friday evening. The injured man remains in a critical but stable condition in hospital.
The 39-year-old was arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to murder and remains in police custody at this time.
A number of items were recovered and have been taken away for further examination.
Officers continue to appeal for information and would ask anyone with any information which could assist with their enquiries to contact police on 101 quoting reference number 1683 12/04/24. Information can also be given anonymously through the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111. Man Arrested On Suspicion Of Attempted Murder
A man has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder over an attack in Coleraine, Co L'Derry. A man, aged in his 50s, is in a critical condition in hospital after he was assaulted at a house on the Ballycastle Road on Monday, 26 September. A man has been arrested in connection with a paramilitary-style shooting in Co L'Derry. A 33-year-old man was shot in the legs and abdomen in the Lisfannon Park area on Tuesday, 08 August. Police described the assault as "brutal and horrific". The 43-year-old suspect was detained in L'Derry on Tuesday, 15 August.

Man Released On Bail Over Lurgan Murder
A man arrested in connection with a murder in Lurgan on Sunday, 06 August, has been released on bail pending further enquiries. The body of a man, aged 45, was discovered at a flat on Victoria Street. Police are appealing for anyone with information to contact them.

Man Arrested Over Assault On Pensioner
A man has been arrested following an assault on a 72-year-old at his home on the Doagh Road are of Newtownabbey on Saturday. The elderly man received a suspected broken ankle and cuts to his face in the attack. The 20-year-old remains in custody for questioning.
