Banbridge Shooting: Man Hands Himself Into Police
A 34-year-old man has been arrested in connection with an attempted murder in Banbridge.
On Friday, 12 April, a 40-year-old man was shot by a masked man as he sat in a vehicle in a car park on the Rathfriland Road.
The shooting victim remains in a critical condition in hospital.
The PSNI have reported that the suspect handed himself into police on Monday, 29 April, and was questioned on suspicion of conspiracy to commit murder.
He has since been released on bail pending further enquiries.

Man Released On Bail Over Lurgan Murder
A man arrested in connection with a murder in Lurgan on Sunday, 06 August, has been released on bail pending further enquiries. The body of a man, aged 45, was discovered at a flat on Victoria Street. Police are appealing for anyone with information to contact them.

A man, aged in his 20s, suffered minor head wounds when a suspected shotgun was fired at a house on Railway Street, Banbridge at about 8.15pm on Wednesday 22 September. Police have said that two men and a woman were in the house at the time of the incident.
